Conference Accomodation

A range of accommodation has been reserved for delegates attending the AWI 7th World Merino Conference. The Conference Organisers have secured attractive rates at the InterContinental Burswood Resort Hotel, Holiday Inn Burswood and two other hotels on behalf of registrants. Hotel rooms in Perth are in short supply and 100% occupancy is not an unusual event. The Conference Organisers are not able to guarantee accommodation unless bookings are confirmed by 2 June 2006. Please indicate your choice of hotel in order of preference on the Registration Enrolment Form and forward the first room night’s deposit or credit card guarantee to secure the reservation. Please advise us if you are twin sharing with another person.

1. A minimum of the first night’s fee is required to guarantee your accommodation reservation.
2. Bookings using credit card guarantees will allow the hotel to charge your room cost to your card. Congress West will forward your card details to your nominated hotel. You may elect now to pay the first night or all nights accommodation.
3. This deposit will be forwarded to the hotel and you will be responsible for settling the balance of the account on checkout of the hotel.
4. Accommodation cancellations received after 2 June 2006 may forfeit the first night’s deposit.
5. Refunds will be subject to the cancellation charges levied by the hotel.
6. Accommodation deposits will also be forfeited if the room is not occupied on the requested check in date.
7. Changes of accommodation requirements must be advised in writing to the conference secretariat. Please do not contact the hotel directly.
8. Rates are per room per night and do not include breakfast.
9. The hotel will issue you with the full tax invoice for all nights you have stayed in that hotel (it is not issued by Congress West)
