Payment Process
- Registration Enrolment Forms must be accompanied by payment of the registration fees and accommodation deposits.
- All amounts are in Australian Dollars. Overseas registrants should arrange payment by bank draft payable in Australian Dollars at an Australian bank.
- Registration fees may be paid by MasterCard, Visa and Bankcard.
- Delegates will receive a confirmation letter which includes the tax receipt.
Goods & Services Tax
A Tax Invoice will be issued with the receipt of registration and should be kept for GST records. Unless otherwise requested in writing at the time of sending the registration enrolment form, the Tax Invoice will be in the name of the delegate.
Reprints for Tax Invoices will be subject to a $20 administration fee.
For international visitors, a tax refund may be sought at the airport for goods which are taken with them in their hand luggage when leaving the country. A tax refund is not available for goods or services consumed in Australia – and therefore the GST component of conference registration fees, accommodation, tours, etc are not claimable.
Cancellation Policy
- All cancellations of attendance must be made in writing to the Conference Secretariat.
- A full refund, less a cancellation fee of AUD$50 will be made on those received before 19 April 2006.
- A refund of 50% of the registration fee will be made on cancellations received between 19 April 2006 and 24 May 2006.
- No refund will be made after 24 May 2006.
- All refunds will be paid after the conclusion of the Conference.
Privacy
Please complete the section of the Registration Form relating to privacy and inclusion of your name, organisation and state/country in the published Delegate List which will be available to exhibitors, sponsors and delegates.
Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Participants carry their own risk for personal injury or loss of property, including baggage, during the Conference. We strongly recommend that, at the time of booking your travel and tours, you take out a travel insurance policy. This policy should take into account loss of deposit through cancellation, medical insurance, loss or damage to personal property, and financial loss incurred through disruption to accommodation or travel arrangements due to business failures, strikes, or other industrial action. The organisers are in no way responsible for any claims concerning insurance.
Disclaimer
The AWI 7th World Merino Conference including the Conference organisers will not accept liability for the damages of any nature sustained by participants or their accompanying persons or loss or damage to their personal property as a result of AWI 7th World Merino Conference or related events.
